Mr. Woong Tae Kim is a South Korean executive with over three decades of experience in the chemical, energy, and industrial sectors. He holds a degree in Chemistry from Korea University and began his professional career at Daewoo Electronics in the process engineering department. He later strengthened his technical and commercial profile at SONG WON TRADING, specializing in the import and distribution of fluorinated chemical products and industrial components for the automotive, semiconductor, and automation industries.
His career reached a pivotal stage when he became President of NURYTEC INC, where for over 20 years he led international commercial operations as well as manufacturing lines for engineering plastics used in automotive applications, testing equipment, and devices for the health and fitness sectors. In this role, he contributed to the development of advanced industrial solutions with applications in energy, transportation, emissions control, and sustainability technologies.
In recent years, he has focused his expertise on supporting initiatives related to biofuels, electric mobility, renewable energy, and clean technologies—combining his technical background with a strategic vision for the global energy transition.
