Mariela Beljansky is an Electrical engineer and Master in Energy from the University of Buenos Aires, with more than 28 years of experience in the energy sector. For two decades, she has specialized in energy and climate change issues, advising both private companies and national and international public organizations.
Until December 2024, she held the position of Undersecretary of Transition and Energy Planning in the Secretariat of Energy of the Ministry of Economy of Argentina. In December 2024, she submitted her resignation from this position, concluding a positive work cycle in the institution.
In addition to her work in the public sector, Beljansky has been a professor at the Interdisciplinary Master's Degree in Energy at the University of Buenos Aires and is recognized as an expert in renewable energy and energy efficiency.
In September 2024, he participated in an Argentine delegation that visited the United States to strengthen climate alliances between both countries, collaborating with institutions such as the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and the California Air Resources Board
